Failure is better than success sometimes

Blog Feature Image

"Failure is so important. We speak about success all the time. It is the ability to resist failure or use failure that often leads to greater success. I've met people who don't want to try for fear of failing." - J.K. Rowling.

We go to great lengths to avoid failing, don't we? Well, what if failure was not really a bad thing? It might just teach you much more than success ever will!

Here are 4 reasons why:

You learn from your mistakes. Only when you fail, you look back and wonder, "why didn't that work?" or "Where do I need to improve?" If you acknowledge what happened and reflect on why you failed, you come out as a wiser person.

You develop thicker skin. Getting back on your feet after failing is not easy. However, failure builds resilience and makes you stronger. You give less importance to 'what other people think' and go after your dream anyways. Moreover, once you get comfortable with failing—you're likely to set more ambitious goals!

You have no regrets. Would you rather know that you tried or live with the regret of what could have happened? Plus, you can learn from your failures and hit the restart button on your goal as a more knowledgeable person!

You value success more. We often take things that come easy for granted. But, if you fail, try again, and then succeed—you will cherish your success so much more because you've worked so hard to get there!
